Cynthia Louise Bissett is the vice president for mobile operators Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director and businessman of an Internet network company was her father. Her family was Catholic and she was raised on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. As a result, her parents enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart a prestigious religious school. Music was her passion from the age of a child. She began playing piano at the age of just a little girl. After the age of 13 she wrote her first song. She participated in open-mic nights. The singers she admired were queen Michael Jackson Madonna, David Bowie. Upon completion of high school she attended New York University's Tisch School of Art to learn about music. However, she didn't pursue her studies, and instead she quit the school to begin her music career.
